At the start of each academic year, we run an election campaign to vote for two new representatives from each class to join the School Council. A representative will speak at the council meetings about issues of importance to their classmates. They will also then feedback to their class about what is going on in the Council meetings and any further actions required.
Our School Council works to make improvements to the school and the way we do things here at Carnforth. We look out for things that could be better and meet each half term to discuss how this can be achieved. Everyone gets a chance to speak and when we’ve finished we vote on the best ideas and then start working on changing things.
